Praying for the Japanese People
I find it hard to post today about the Tightwad Gazette. It seems uncaring and almost unholy to do so. I will post my comments and discussion for pages 97 through 106 tomorrow. For today and this evening, I will remain in prayer for the people of our world who are suffering unimaginable loss at this time.
In the last few weeks we have seen a lot of heartache in the world. At times it feels more than we as members of humankind can take - to see the suffering and hurt that is taking place. It is times like these that we need to pray. While we continue to pray for the people of New Zealand and their ongoing recovery from the earthquake, we also pray for the people of Australia and their recovery from floods and wildfires. Then our attention is turned to the Middle East and to the countries that are going through upheaval and turmoil. Now we turn are prayers towards the Japanese people. Seventy years ago this year they became our enemy. Today we our friends and allies with these honorable people.
Pray for the people of Japan. Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy upon us.

Just when you think it is finally over, another tragedy occurs. I have been really self absorbed this last week or two, and now i feel guilty.
So I,m sending prayers all over the world, please keep them safe..........
I agree.. it's sooo sad. :(
My nephew and his family are stationed in Japan. We just heard from them a few hours ago. They are safe because they are on base, but they said it is heartbreaking there. No water, no phones, no power, families trying to find each other and death everywher. I am praying and praying and praying.
Hopefully we can change the world if we all pray
Judy
@Judy:
It is good news to know that your nephew and family are alright.
